REVIEW:
Educators, students, science professionals, and the general public will all find something of interest at ActionBioScience.
The site provides a wealth of articles by scientists, science educators, and students about issues that are related
to the several bioscience topics, including environment, biodiversity, genomics, biotechnology, evolution, and new frontiers in science. All articles are peer reviewed before publication. The lessons
directory includes original lessons written and reviewed by science educators for middle, high school, and undergraduate
students. These lessons accompany articles on the site and include questions relating to the article, as well as a variety
of activities for the classroom. Additionally, lessons are grouped according to the bioscience topics,
and teachers can access the National Science Education Standards chart to find lessons that address particular
curricular needs. |
