Habits of the Heart uses animations, interactive features, and videos to show how the heart and lungs work.

	CONTENT: This site from the Science Museum of Minnesota is a resource for teachers and students learning about the cardiovascular and circulatory systems.
	SITE DESIGN: This interactive site features tabs at the top of the page with links to the five main areas as well as a bottom navigation menu. Macromedia Flash Player and QuickTime plug-in are required.
	REVIEW: Habits of the Heart uses animations, interactive features, and videos to show how the heart and lungs work. Users can learn the parts of the heart and lungs, how the heart valves work, see the flow of blood to and from the heart, view the entire vascular system and the respiratory system, use a virtual stethoscope to listen to the heart, and view some very graphic videos about coronary bypass, heart replacement, and angiocardiography. Teachers will find lesson plans and activities on the heart and the lungs that are ready to use in the classroom. Included are extension lessons and a set of online tools
